Welcome to Like It or Lump It. Everything you read here has to do with movies or TV shows that I have watched or am currently watching. Over the past, too many years, I have watched thousands of hours of action and comedy movies.
My interest in started in the mid 1980’s when I connected my and VCR to my stereo and my first home theater was born. Even though my TV at the time was a 25 inch tube, seeing the movie and hearing all the sound coming from my stereo brought me to a place that I still enjoy over 35 years later.
Watching Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando, Sylvester Stallone in Rocky III or Jean-Claude Van Damme in Bloodsport made me feel like I was a spectator in the movie not just watching it from the outside. Fast forward to today, with the improvements in movie picture and sound, watching a movie like the Avengers on a 65 inch 4K screen with 13 speakers makes that experience even better but it’s what the movie or TV show is about that makes the experience complete.
Back to the point and what this site is all about is, my unbiased or biased opinion of movies and TV shows. The like it or lump it part means, take it or leave it or it is what is it is and that is what you get by reading my reviews. There are plenty of in-depth movie websites that have much more information but if you are looking for something to watch that includes action or comedy, this will give you a place to start.
Grad some popcorn and a beverage, sit back in your recliner or couch, and enjoy the show.
